A technologically advanced 1,800 BHP steam plant

While Mount Nittany Medical Center provides the State College area with the latest advancements in healthcare, their boiler house is now equipped with a technologically advanced 1,800 BHP steam plant with the provisions for a future 600 BHP unit. This new steam plant is housed in a new addition that has been built off of the existing plant.
The design applies some of the industry's most innovative machinery to optimize plant capacity and reduce the payback period of the new equipment. Capabilities of this plant include feeding through backpressure turbine for combined heat and power generation. There are 2N redundant power supplies and steam headers that ensure continual operation for this plant.
